Abstract
- The article focuses on the alleviation of the anxiety and culture shock of the international students in the U.S. academic libraries. It points out the international students' high level of motivation for success is in American academia. It notes the necessity for librarians to be aware of the differences between domestic and international students in their educational systems, class participation and academic success. Librarians are suggested to encourage international students to express themselves in their research papers and in class.
