Abstract
- The article discusses the civil nuclear power program of Pakistan. It describes the operation of the Karachi and Chasma nuclear power plants, which went critical in 1971 and 2000 respectively. Agreements between the Pakistani and Chinese governments to construct additional nuclear reactors are mentioned. The operation of the Pakistan Research Reactors 1 and 2 are also addressed.
