The 29th JAFAE Conference.

Information about several papers discussed at the 29th National Conference of the Japanese Association for Asian Englishes (JAFAE) held on December 10, 2011 sponsored by Sugiyama Jogakuen University, Nagoya-shi, Japan on concept of English variation in Japan is presented. Topics include attitudes of Japanese learners of English and South Korean English education. The symposium featured various professors including Masakazu Iino, Peter Hassall and Reiko Takahashi.
