Abstract
- The article discusses research which was conducted to investigate the effects rest interval (Rl) length had on bench press performance in subjects with disparity in maximum strength. Researchers evaluated two cohorts of subjects who performed bench presses with different rest intervals. They found that maximal strength plays a role in bench press performance with varying RIs and that shorter RIs may suffice in women to attain a specific volume.
