Abstract
- The article reports the results of a national K-12 survey conducted to explore the perceptions of the role of Professional School Counselors (PSC) that they play in dealing with childhood obesity. Some of the barriers and facilitators that affect PSCs' participation in the fight against childhood obesity were also examined. The results show that about two-thirds of PSCs thought that working with obese students was part of their role and function.
