Rituximab and thalidomide combination therapy for Castleman disease.

The article focuses on combination therapy of rituximab and thalidomide for multiple castleman disease (MCD), similar to lymphoma. 11 patients with MCD were given rituximab and thalidomide combination therapy during a study followed by thalidomide. The combination therapy induced durable and significant outcomes in majority of the patients without the need for exposure to chemotherapy.
