CERME7 Working Group 13: Early Years mathematics.

Information about several papers discussed at the Seventh Congress of the European Society for Research in Mathematics Education (CERME 7) held February 9-13, 2011 at Rzeszów in Poland is presented. The papers focus on the mathematics learning and education for children aged 3 to 7. Other issues include the exploratory activity on natural numbers in Grade 2 in Italy and children's written and oral mathematical solutions to arithmetic problems.
