Abstract

The article discusses the legislation on genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in Europe. It notes the need to amend regulation on the release of GMOs to the market. It also mentions the impact of regulatory framework for GMOs to the multiple interests at stake including environmental, scientific and industrial. Other interests are also discussed.
