The article presents an analysis of the green technology and its role in the international investment markets. Particular focus is given to the case of China, in which the development of alternative sources of energy to diminish the carbon emissions is crucial for the energy security. In addition, this industry provides the country with a very promising opportunity to develop a domestic energy industry.
