HSBC Launches Dim Sum Bond Fund.

The article reports that HSBC Global Asset Management U.S.A. has brought to market its first renminbi Fixed Income Fund, the fifth U.S.-domiciled fund dedicated to China's offshore bond market. HSBC is positioning the fund as a fixed-income portfolio diversifier as well as a yield and currency play as it could potentially make the China bond market, also known as the Dimsum bond market as one of the largest in the world.
