Abstract

The article presents a study which examines the role of plasma chitinase 3-like 1 (CHI3LI) in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) clinican course and the activity of disease. The study used enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to determine the levels of plasma CHI3L1. Results showed that plasma CHI3L1 levels were importantly increased in patients with progressive for of MS compared with relapsing-remitting (RRMS) patients.
