Chapter 6 of the book "The Winding Road to West Egg: The Artistic Development of F. Scott Fitzgerald," by Robert Roulston and Helen H. Roulston is presented. It talks on the two articles "The Cut-Glass Bowl" and "The Four Fists," by F. Scott Fitzgerald which appeared in the May and June 1920 issues of the "Scribner's Magazine." It explains why editor Robert Bridges regarded the first article as worth reading while the second one as trash although both have didacticism and a schematic structure.
