Provides information on a study that reported on the crystal growth and the photorefractive properties of a manganese-doped (KNa)[sub0.1](Sr[sub0.6]Ba[sub0.4])[sub0.9]Nb[sub2]0[sub6]. Formula of tungsten-bronze potassium sodium strontium barium niobate crystals; Method used for growing the crystals; Equation of the two-wave coupling gain; Conclusion.
