Brewing Reliable, Reproducible Results.

The article discusses the use of the Scepter cell counter for the brewing industry. It notes that the handheld cell counter, which serves as an alternative to methods of yeast cell counting, ensures reliability and reproducibility of fermentation from batch-to-batch in the brewing process. It explains that a combination of analog and digital hardware for sensing, signal processing, and data storage as well as graphical display in the form of a histogram were used in the instrumentation.
