Abstract

Presents a study which demonstrated stabilization and control of chaos in an rf-pumped magnetostatic-resonance instability experiment on a thin circular yttrium iron garnet film, using open-loop and closed-loop feedback methods to modulate the static magnetic field. Discussion on the closed-loop experiment; Numerical simulations to search for regions of stability in the modulation-amplitude-modulation-frequency plane; Excitation of ferromagnetic resonance.
