Abstract

Chapter Twenty-Eight of the book "Peace, Value, and Wisdom: The Educational Philosophy of Daisaku Ikeda" is presented. A fictional dialogue with Paulo Freire based on his "Pedagogy of the Oppressed" is offered to explore how Ikeda views the importance of humanizing the relationship of students and teachers to foster dialogue in the classroom, mentioning the state of Buddhahood as the trait of dialoguers.
