Abstract: The article presents information on a notice issued by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the U.S. Department of Transportation in order to propose the airworthiness directive (AD) for the model A109S helicopters manufactured by Agusta SpA. The AD will be proposed to detect and prevent the electrical failure on the helicopter. The FAA has invited public comments till July 9, 2012 regarding the AD.
