The author describes the many treasure finds he unearthed at a farm in Southampton, England with detectorist Shelly Thorne. During the 1980s, Thorne and her mother found an 18th-century gold posy ring with the words "Never to Chainge" inscribed on the inner band. Key finds at the farm include a large iron nail with a loop wrapped around the top, a coin dated 293-296 AD, and a tiny silver Venetian coin.
