Abstract

The article reports on the legal fight between General Motors Corp. and Chrysler Group LLC dealers and the U.S. government. It says that the lawsuits filed by dealers who lost their dealerships in 2009 claim that their constitutional rights were violated by the federal government due to the lack of just compensation for taking their properties. It mentions that the cases were not dismissed by Judge Robert H. Hodges Jr. who believes on the right of plaintiffs to develop a unique case.
