Abstract

The article focuses on the distribution of the Dalmatian Ringlet, Proterebia afer dalmata, that was recorded in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first specimens of this butterfly were spotted near the road in the small village of Dobrici in Bosnia on April 28, 2011. Its habitat is described as a dry karst rocky pasture with low grassy vegetation covered with single trees. Only five specimens were observed, which is a small number compared to that found in Croatia.
