In this article the author discusses the article "Precommitting to Serve the Underserved" by Nir Eyal and Till Bärnighausen, which is concerned with using conditional scholarships with medical students to increase the number of medical professionals in medically underserved areas across the globe. She is supportive of several points which are raised in Eyal and Bärnighausen's articles and of using conditional scholarships.
