Abstract: The article offers information on a notice issued by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regarding the proposed regulations that provide guidance to private foundations on program-related investments. The proposed regulations provide a series of examples related to investments that qualify as program-related investments. The IRS is seeking comments and requests for a public meeting before July 18, 2012.
