Abstract

The author comments on a paper by M. Petticrew and colleagues which proposed a flow chart in line with deciding when more evidence is needed for public health policy and practice in line with randomized controlled trials (RCTs). The author highlights the need to embed the tool in a broader framework of learning. The author emphasizes the need for a clearer explication of what better public health evidence means.
