SEN Green Paper 2011: progress and prospects.

The article presents a paper based on the Policy Seminar held at Birkbeck College in London, England on the special educational needs (SEN) Green Paper. It outlines the definition of SEN and explains how merging school action and school action plus would simplify the system. It relates the proposal of the Green Paper to extend the choice of schools to all state-funded schools that would include special schools, academies and free schools.
