Determination of the permethrin content in wool fabrics with GC-MS.

A method has been developed for the determination of the permethrin content in wool fabrics with GC-MS. The permethrin was determined with column HP-5 MS (30 m x 0. 25 mm x 0. 25 μm). The results showed that cis-trans permethrin was well separated, the recoveries were between 88. 0% 94. 3% , and the RSDs were between 5. 4% 9. 7%. In addition, as the column HP-5 MS (30 m x 0. 25 mm x 0. 25 μm) was also used for detection of banned azo dyes in textiles, testers save the disassembly time and greatly improve the detection efficiency.
