Abstract

The article presents a study on the averaged carbon dioxide (ACOS) X<subscript>CO<subscript>2</subscript></subscript> retrieval algorithm. The study looks into estimates of the column averaged carbon dioxide (CO)<subscript>2</subscript> dry air mole fraction, X<subscript>CO2</subscript>, using U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) retrieval methods. It also explores the retrieval algorithm's on seasonal time scales and retrieved surface pressure.
