This article is a summary of the 20th Symposium on the History of Pharmacy of the Polish Pharmaceutical Society, which was held in Zakopane, Poland, from June 2-5, 2011. The event was organized by the Section of Pharmacy History of the Kraków branch of the Polish Pharmaceutical Society. The event was opened by Dr. Zbigniew Bela, director of the event's organizing committee, and Dr. Barbara Filipek, chairperson of the Kraków branch of the Polish Pharmaceutical Society.
