OSIĄGNIĘCIA BADAWCZE ZAKŁADU HISTORII NAUK ŚCISŁYCH, PRZYRODNICZYCH I TECHNIKI W 2010 R.

This article summarizes the attainments made in various areas of research conducted by the Department of the History of the Hard Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Technology in calendar year 2010. The author begins by noting cooperative research project undertaken with Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia in the study "The Role of Women in Chemistry and Innovations in the European Sphere of Research, With a Focus upon the Group of Nations of the Visegrad Triangle." This is followed by section summaries dealing with: 1) the history and philosophy of science; 2) the hard sciences; 3) the history of astronomy; 4) the history of chemistry; 5) natural history--earth studies; 6) the history of pharmacy; 7) the history of medicine; and 8) the history of technology.
