Abstract

This is a case study of two depressed women who were able to benefit from a 16-week course of Interpersonal Psychotherapy. This well-established brief psychotherapy has become increasingly available throughout the UK. The focus of this biopsychosocial approach that is on change within the patients interpersonal world means a more active goal-focused approach that addresses symptomatic and emotional concerns using the individuals narrative.
