Abstract

The article focuses on the importance for coaches and trainers to have critical thinking skills. It states that a number of training books and articles utilize data that is questionable and can result in erroneous conclusions. It suggests that organizational concepts such as competences, culture, leadership, and values are ambiguous and difficult to define. It defines critical thinking and its use in training and comments on Phil Rosenzweig's book "The Halo Effect."
