Abstract

The article discusses a study on the nutritional intake of people with mood disorders. Data gathered from 146 adults aged 18 years and above with mood disorders who were members of the Mood Disorders Association of British Columbia (MDABC) indicate that social, demographic and clinical factors affect their nutritional intakes. The study participants had nutritional inadequacies such as thiamine, riboflavin and pantothenic acid.
