Abstract
- The article discusses the journey taken by a mother polar bear and her cubs in the Arctic during the spring to search for food. It describes how the mother keeps the cubs safe while bringing them to the sea ice to hunt seals. Ringed seals are named as the main meal of polar bears in the Arctic. Scientists are monitoring how polar bears will adapt to warmer weather in the Arctic as a result of climate change.
