Abstract: The complexing of gold during dissolution of gold powder in donor-acceptor organic and aqueous-organic Au-DMSO-RX systems (where R=H or Bu, and X=Cl or Br) was studied. Ten complexes were produced, and their compositions and IR spectra in the 4000−200 cm range were determined.
