The article provides the outlook for the economic performance and economic policy of Bulgaria for 2012. Because of lackluster prospects for exports, still-fragile business and consumer confidence, slow growth of domestic credit, and the need to maintain a relatively tight fiscal stance, it expects that the economic growth will remain at a very moderate pace. Meanwhile, the economic policy is anticipated to stay sensible and will move the country toward even greater macroeconomic stability.
