We have investigated the L/K-capture ratio ofCr. The values obtained for the transitions to the first excited state ofV and for both transitions to the first excited state and the ground state ofV are (N/ N)=0.1044±2% and ( N/N)=0.1033±3% respectively. They are in fairly good agreement with theoretical results which take exchange corrections into account. But there still remains a dependence of the results on the method used to obtain the capture numbers from the measured spectrum. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
