Abstract

The article presents an overview of the Measurement of Humidity in the Atmosphere and Validation Experiment (MOHAVE) 2009 campaign, which took place at Jet Propulsion Laboratoty (JPL) Table Mountain Facility (TMF) in California on October 11-27. Validation of instruments, cover water vapor measurements from the ground to the mesopause, and study upper tropospheric humidity variability are the main objectives of the campaign. Instruments, campaign operations, and planning rationale are discussed.
