Abstract

An analysis of 1311 cases in the pediatric age range is presented from M. Y. Hospital, Indore. The pediatric attendance constitutes 36.8 per cent. of the total number of patients attending the Skin and V. D. clinics in the Out-patient Department of this hospital. Infections form the bulk of the total skin cases among children (78.4 per cent.), which are attributable to the socio-economic environment. Infections are more common in the pre-school group as compared to the school-going group. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
