Abstract
- The article offers information on the changes in the gross domestic product (GDP) rate and employment from 1983 to 2007 in Canada. It focuses on the difference between recessions and economic slowdowns. It offers information on the slow growth of employment rate in 2010. It mentions that the downturn in the stocks and the drop in the investment by companies, lead the U.S. economy to recession, effecting the exports of Canada.
