Abstract
- A quantitative study on the action of HO upon Cl. saccharobutyricum shows that the primary action is produced upon a first substance X, very likely an enzyme, following a mechanism such as one equivalent of oxygen gives a reversible combination, and two equivalents an irreversible combination.
