Abstract

The article discusses the future of the U.S. export trade post World War I. The War has instigated significant changes in international economic relations including the increased U.S. emphasis in the Asian markets. Another change for the U.S. is the country's diminished dependence on Europe for its raw materials. The U.S. has developed contacts with important international markets in the Far East and South America. Analysts say the future success of U.S. exports is dependent upon the expansion of the country's productive capacity.
