Abstract

The article discusses several papers related to obesity from a behavioral economics perspective. It reports on a paper that highlights the effects on stress on obesity and other health outcomes. It reports on another study on the impacts of economic and psychological factors on adult obesity. It emphasizes on the importance of understanding the insights from psychology and behavioral economics, which can improve the ability to understand the reasons for obesity, which are other than genetics.
