Abstract
- The article discusses a study on the metabolic model of glacial-interglacial energy supply to the upper ocean. It mentions the application of a two-state two-box ocean model for simulating carbon dioxide signal during the glacial-interglacial changes in the earth system. It also notes that the capability of the model to reproduce long-term oscillations and identify the planet's metabolic rate with net autotrophic primary production in the ocean.
