The 1-way on-line coupled atmospheric chemistry model system MECO(n) - Part 3: Meteorological evaluation of the on-line coupled system.

The article presents the three case study experiments which investigate the ability of the new 1-way on-line coupled atmospheric chemistry model system (MECO) to accurately predict weather condition during meteorologically challenging conditions in Central Europe. It relates that the simulation with the new model were compared with present-day regional weather prediction models. The study reveals the effectiveness of the new model to forecast the weather during intense weather condition.
