The health impacts of khat: a qualitative study among Somali-Australians.

The article presents research which examined the patterns in the use of khat among Somali-Australians. The researchers conducted semistructured focus groups involving members of Somali communities in the different areas and cities of Australia such as Sydney in New South Wales. They found that the use of khat is more common in men than in women and it increases energy when used for a long time.
