The article presents the author's experience of practising the holds he learned at a jiu-jitsu school to Alfred when he got back to the office from Birmingham, England. The author mentions that Alfred who is a six-foot-two man will not resent being practised on of the hold. The author relates finding himself thrown in the waste-paper basket and failed to execute his attack by not inserting his left arm well above Alfred's elbow.
