- Several poems are presented including "Mirtil and Thirsis," First Line: Hark! The majestic sound! The trumpet hear! Last Line: Preacher of the gospel at Hindelbanck. "The Bacchanalian," First Line: The thunder rolls dreadfully through the dark sky, Last Line: No-'tis for the best wine to enquire. and "Fable," First Line: While a nightingale chanted in the midst of a forest, the neighbouring hills and; Last Line: but uninspired inclinaton."
