Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the 52nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Geological Society of India that was held at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) on September 22, 2011. BHU Department of Geology head H. B. Srivastava offered a detailed account of the history and development of his department. Chief guest Harsh Gupta discussed the efforts of the Geological Society of India in fostering the cause of earth sciences in the country.
