Abstract
- The recent increase in "personal diplomacy" has brought forth a good deal of speculation on the imminence of a thaw in the cold war, and the possible consequences for the national economy. Much depends on how businessmen think and plan ahead. Here several thousand business executives--a cross section of HBR readers--speak out on this clouded, crucial topic, both in terms of 1960 and of 1965. Their views and plans are reported by Theodore Levitt, Lecturer on Business Administration, Harvard Business School. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
