Abstract

The article examines the challenges faced by the United States to improve international relations while simultaneously earning profits from nuclear power. The author examines the competitive advantage of the United States in nuclear technology, the effects of the fossil fuel reserve in the U.S., which lessens the economic incentive for the immediate domestic use of nuclear power, markets for nuclear reactors and associated equipment, and the ramifications of international trade and cooperation in the nuclear field.
