The amount and composition of municipal waste reflects advance of the population living in the region. Our research is focused on obtaining the necessary data and information on the structure of municipal waste in rural areas. The share of packaging waste in the total municipal waste depends on the consumption of the household. The aim of our study was to create a model of MSW composition in the village based on the results of series analysis of municipal waste, which may be applicable in designing of separate collection systems of the Association of Municipalities.
